Holistic, Integrative, Naturopathic and Respectful Humility
our philosophy summed up in four words:
Holistic: This means that we don’t focus only on fixing symptoms. Rather, we focus on getting to the root of the problem – if we can provide you with support your body needs to correct the underlying problem, and then the symptoms go away on their own. To do this, we have to back up and look at the whole person – often people come with complaints about several different symptoms. If we back up a little to get a broader perspective, it is amazing how many of their symptoms have the same underlying root cause. Our methods of available treatment include acupuncture, applied nutritional therapy, massage therapy, and hydro colon therapy.
Integrative: We are trained to help our patients create a rational therapy plan to solve their health-related challenges. We are unique in that we are trained to integrate the best of body work, traditional chinese medicine (TCM), homeopathic, and nutritional medicine when creating your plan.
Naturopathic: refers to the medicine approach that emphasizes the ability of the body to heal itself. Naturopathy contends that such a capacity for self-healing is innate and can be supported with a variety of modalities such as those listed above rather than using synthetic drugs. The process in healing requires time and we are committed to not simply masking symptoms.
Respectful Humility: There is no one who knows your body better then you. People tend to know how their body responds to things. In the end, our practice includes giving our educated recommendations, never making mandates or insisting upon a certain course of therapy. You have final say in what goes into your body. Once you choose to begin a partnership with us, we are committed to helping you achieve optimal health and living a full life.
